A Little Bit Of Coffee, A Whole Lot Of Jesus

My favorite kind of day is this: getting dropped off at either Bigby or Starbucks and bringing my lap top and working on writing for my blog and listening to good music and having a good cup of coffee in my hands. Just having some solitude time to myself and forgetting about all the hustle from the world around me. Now, here is a quote I would like to share...

Have you ever heard this saying? It is so true especially for those coffee and Jesus lovers. What are some of your favorite coffee drinks? Caramel latte' and white chocolate mocha are some of my favorites. Coffee is one of my first priorities. Coffee has become a big part of our world today. If you have a busy day ahead of you or if you didn't get enough sleep most of us look to coffee to get us through the day. But to be honest for the Christian coffee lovers, coffee shouldn't be the only thing to help us through the day. Maybe in the morning if you need coffee you could take some time with your devotional and spend time with God. God is our source of strength to get us through the day. Coffee can help but shouldn't be the main focus to help us through the day. If you understand what I mean. Don't get me wrong I love coffee and could not live without it.

Here are 3 ways you can combine coffee and Jesus time

1. Morning devotional- Set aside a time in the morning with a good cup of coffee and reflect on what your devotional is talking about

2. Friends- Maybe even getting together with a couple friends one day and catching up and talking about God or meeting for a devotional or quick Bible study

3. Afternoon coffee- When you are in the drive through waiting for coffee, maybe you are taking a break from work or school, you could pray or listen to Christian music like WCSG or The Message or the Christian Station that's in your town.

We all may need coffee but at least we can use our coffee time to think about Jesus too!
